Stewie this one is for you,
How do people feel about spending a morning getting the scouthut to a more respectable situation so that it isn't an emabarassment when teams come to visit?

We did this at the being of the season and I know Stu cleaned it on Saturday before the game. But you can be sure that it will be a state again this weekend.

The other problem is that the football club will use it again soon plus there will be no water for at least a week in the near future!!

I agree. The problem is that as soon as you get the scout hut tidy, then the football club or someone else will just leave rubbish, etc in there. Long term someone really needs to talk to the scout commitee about the problem, especially in the kitchen!
