For those who don't get How's That (the Umpire's and scorer's magazine) the notchers play the scratchers every xmas time in the form of a quiz! each question gives a number as an answer which refers to each players score so let's see if we can get question 1 Scratchers:
A Match is due to start at 1.45pm. The captains toss at 1.18pm. How many minutes does the winning captain have before he must notify the opposition captain of his decision whether to bat or to field first?

scratchers 2 then
in a two innings match team A score 179 and 158. in their first innings team B scored 236. how many runs must team B be dismissed for the match to be a tie?

thats what i made it also.........Now scratchers 3
A ball which is called and signalled No ball is cut by the striker to third man and the batsman complete three runs. The return hits the helmet lying on the ground and ricochets whereupon the the batsman run two more. How many runs should be added to the total?
Told you they slightly more difficult!!!!
