close seasondoes anyone have any tips for our own kit.
ie bats...... do we need to oil, where should we keep them over the winter?
pads, any hints/tips ?
boots ?
clothes?

Not at our house is the answer.
Last year the kit was very smelly - and we already have a lingering smell in our house!

Thanks Barry.
Same applies though - unless you live on your own then best thing to do is put it all in the garage and forget about it until April - then wonder why you didn't clean/wash/oil it!

i think when it gets to winter nets your supposed to knock your bat in for about half hr to 'wake it up.' Ive never done it, but all my bats break so maybe thats where I'm going wrong!
