As far as the Chuch game is concerned, have we asked Martin what he has agreed with the Church as he will be captaining the side?

Martin will not be captaining the side, it falls to the 2nd team vice captain to captain the side and surely its the secretary job to liase with opposing sides regarding details.

Well as far as i am aware the game is going to be mixed teams, as at the moment in time we can only get 9 players from the church!

We had discussed mixed teams - with Pete and Rushy (x2??) on the church side and a couple of comparable players on the Bar Hill side as a starting point, then pulling the rest out of a hat.

Stewie - I would like to nip that particular rumour in the bud.
The 2nd Team Vice-captain has for a number of years traditionally captained the Wrinklies/Social Club Match.
Apart from last year there has never been any history of the 2nd Team Vice-captain captaining the Church match.
In fact, before last year, it has always fallen to the Friendly Team captain ever since the Friendly team was set up ( I remember this well as the first Friendly Team captain!).
Sorry, but Martins your man.
