I see that abbots ripton have defaulted again. by my reckoning that makes FOUR LEAGUE GAMES and ONE CUP GAME. Can we make a plea to the league to get confirmation that they intend to play their remaining matches. If they cannot guarantee completion clubs need to know as early as poss.

sorry last sentance should finish, they should be thrown out of the league, for a period of ten years.

I agree but I dont think is our place asking for them to be banned.

re my last message.
I feel very strongly about the defaulting of matches.
I just want to play cricket. I have never known a season ( in my THIRTY-TWO YEARS of junior cricket) when there has been so many matches called off for lack of players.
It was great to see that in the seconds this week we were due to play seven players under the age of eighteen.also in the firsts seven players 21 or younger.
Here's hoping that both teams can play their last two games, its a very long winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stimmo said he was going to call Abbots Ripton to see if they intend to play next Saturday, so we don't waste time getting a team, etc.

I think the issue should be raised with the league - should be hefty fines or something.
